A core ontology of economical fishery concepts. It uses some concepts from other core fishery ontologies (http://www.loa-cnr.it/ontologies/FAO/), from OntoWordNet (http://www.loa-cnr.it/ontologies/OWN/own.owl), and from DOLCE+ library (http://www.loa-cnr.it/ontologies/DLP397.owl).
Reused ontologies are not imported in order to save reasoning time: their consistency and classification has been performed successfully, and the need to import top-level axioms should emerge only in case of mappings.
Comments to ontology elements should be imported from the FIGIS schemas they have been reengineered from.
